Our shop is at 117 Zhongshan Road. We opened in ROC year 79, so it has been ten years now.
Every day I get up at 3:30 to get ready, open at 5:30, close when it is sold out.
Two of us in the shop, me and my wife. She takes the money, I do the griddle.
We only make a few things. Egg crepes, turnip cake, sandwiches, steamed buns with egg.
To drink there is soy milk, rice milk, black tea, milk tea, and milk or goat milk for the kids.
Egg crepe is ten dollars. It has not gone up since we opened.
People tell me that is no way to run a shop. I say as long as everybody gets full.
Regular customers, I pretty much remember who wants what.
Who does not eat scallions, who wants one more egg, who is in a hurry, I keep track of it all.
Students, if you did not bring enough money, eat first, pay me next time.
