Electricity Rate Briefing; Time and Place to Be Announced

[Staff Report]

The power company said it will hold briefings for customers in the district on the rate change, explaining the difference between the old and new rates, the summer rate period and ways to save power. Time and place to be announced.

Summer rates apply from June 1 to September 30, with different tiers from the rest of the year; households using more electricity will notice it most.

Customers can apply at the briefings for installment payments and low-income subsidies; bring your latest bill and ID.

Customers who need to change their service type or add a meter can apply at the service center.
