Borough Sports Day Set for Next Month

[Staff Report]

The North District borough sports day will be held in the middle of next month at the district sports ground, with fun games, tug of war and a relay, each borough fielding a team.

Fun games include the three-legged race, basketball shooting and a ball relay, open to all ages. Tug of war has men's and women's divisions, ten per team.

Registration is by borough, closing on the 25th of this month; forms are at borough offices. The organizers suggest boroughs practice relay handoffs ahead of time.

There will be a lucky draw for everyone with a ticket. Parking at the sports ground is limited, so public transport is recommended.
